Alice Seferiades
Psychotherapist & Supervisor
UKCP reg
I am a qualified and highly experienced Integrative Psychotherapist and Supervisor.
I have worked for over 18 years in private practice and the NHS, with clients, supervisees and trainees.
I am bilingual and offer therapy in both English and Greek.
Supervision
I offer clinical supervision to trainees and qualified therapists in private practice, the NHS and via training organisations.
In our first meeting we shall think together about your goals and your preferred style of supervision. Our work may then include: developing clinical expertise, integrating theoretical understandings and clinical practice, and professional development.
I am qualified to supervise therapists working or training in a range of modalities:
· Diploma in Integrative Supervision
· Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD) Supervisor
· Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) Supervisor
Being bi-lingual in Greek and English, I supervise therapists who are working in one or both of these languages.
How I can help
Working in private practice and the NHS over the past two decades I have helped adult clients experiencing a range of emotional difficulties including depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, bereavement, relational difficulties, fertility, life stage transitions, identity and confidence.
1:1 Psychotherapy
We will work together to make sense of your experiences of emotional distress, often felt as depression and anxiety, and gain an understanding of what fuels it. Much of our work will focus on your emotions and how you feel them in your body. I will always strive to understand your own lived experience in the world and so we may think about how we seem different or similar.
This process can bring relief and the ability to make change.
